A New Machine That Can Detect Cancer In Minutes Just With A Breath!
Cancer is kind of a disaster. Sometimes, it couldn’t be recognized until it comes to the final stage. And it will be too late to start treatments at that stage.
As a solution for this matter, doctors are trailing a new device which can detect cancer in seven minutes only with a breath. This new machine has an electronic nose, it can detect the chemical produced by cancer.
This tester device works at nanoparticle levels and offers a high level of accuracy. Human trials to be held this autumn at two NHS hospitals and two US hospitals. Hundreds of patients involving into this trial.
This cancer detecting device could be used within two years as it begins clinical trials in Britain.
The non-invasive experiments, initially targeting lung cancer, will see patients breathing through a mouthpiece for a minute, with analysis being sent to a supercomputer.
Since the cancer detector detects chemicals produced by every and each cancer and could help detect cancer at beginning stages. Detecting that chemical is known as ‘volatile organic compounds’.
Ancon Medical said cancer tester could be available within two years if trials are successful. It is the company behind the technology of this tester device.
Dr Kenny Livingstone, of GP access app Zoomdoc, said the tests were ‘revolutionary’ and ‘a game changer for patients’.
If they succeed it will be one of the most important innovation in the century. And it will save thousands of lives from suffering.
